Scope of work
Design coordination with the client's interior designer, shop fabrication of grain-matched white-oak cases, on-site scribing to out-of-square walls, integration of a rolling ladder rail, and a two-coat lacquer finish applied in the shop.
Fabrication and installation
Shop-built in multiple case sections with grain-matched veneer faces, joined and scribed on site
Walls were out of square by a measurable amount across the run, so case fillers and scribe strips were sized during installation rather than assumed from field measurements alone.
What the detail solved
The client wanted the wall to read as one continuous grain pattern rather than a series of separate cabinets.
Brass ladder rail hardware was ordered to the finished case height, so rail placement was locked before finishing.
